Oklahoma has been a model for the nation in managing disasters be it tornadoes, floods, or the Murrah Bombing. I am concerned about our level of preparedness for the unthinkable. As your Senator I intend to apply my experience in public health to help ensure that we have a state-wide and local plans to address potential threats and epidemics.
